NCOA Link
Each year more
than 43 million Americans move from their place of residence or business, but
their old addresses often remain in the mailer's computers. As a result, mail continues to go to old
addresses instead of the new ones. It is
estimated that at least 10% of all standard class mail is
undeliverable-as-addressed (UAA). This
means lost opportunities, lost sales and wasted money.
The Postal
Service is moving ahead with its effort to reduce undeliverable as addressed
mail. On November 23, 2008, the USPS began requiring that a mailing list be
updated within 95 days of the mailing, both for standard class and 1st
class mailings.
Our NCOA Link service makes
available current change of address information that can help reduce your
undeliverable mail. Addressing errors
are identified and corrected before mailing. NCOA Link will save you
money
that would have been spent on wasted materials and postage. In addition,
valuable customer records that would have been outdated can be be kept current so the customer will continue to receive
current and future mailings.
And to make things even easier for you, we’ll even keep track of when your list needs to be updated, and automatically process the update to make sure you meet the 95 day postal requirement.
